Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Varsity Habits LLC (“Varsity Habits”, “we”) collects through varsityhabits.com, our client portal and our proposals, how we use it, and your choices. We don't sell personal information.

  1. 01What we collect

    • Contact form: your name, email, brand, store URL, what you're interested in and your message.
    • Client portal accounts: your name, email and login details. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and never stored in plain text.
    • Connected accounts: when you connect Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Analytics or Google Ads, we get read-only access and pull daily totals: store revenue and orders, ad spend, impressions, clicks, conversions and sessions. The access tokens are encrypted at rest.
    • Proposals: the recipient's name and email, and when you sign, the name and email you type, the time, your IP address and your browser, as a record of the agreement.

  2. 02How we use it

    • To reply to inquiries and send proposals.
    • To run the client portal and build your brand's dashboard and reports.
    • To do the work in your plan, bill for it and keep records of what was agreed.
    • To keep the site and portal secure.

  3. 03Data from Google, Meta and Shopify

    We only request read access, and we use data from these accounts only to show and report on your brand's own performance to you and our team. We don't use it for advertising to anyone else, sell it, or share it outside the providers listed below.

    Varsity Habits's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

    You can disconnect any account from the portal at any time, or revoke access from the platform itself. We stop syncing right away.

  4. 04Who we share it with

    Only the service providers that run the site and portal for us, under their own privacy and security terms:

    • Supabase (database and login)
    • Vercel (hosting)
    • Resend (email)

    We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of selling or merging the business.

  5. 05Cookies

    We use cookies only to keep you signed in to the client portal. The public website doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies.

  6. 06How long we keep it

    We keep contact-form messages and portal data while we're talking or working together, and for a reasonable period after to meet legal and accounting needs. Signed proposals are kept as a record of the agreement. Metrics from connected accounts are deleted when we delete your brand from the portal.

  7. 07Your choices

    You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information by emailing hello@varsityhabits.com. You can update your name in the portal and disconnect accounts at any time. Our services are for businesses and aren't directed at children under 16.
